With many education professionals unable to travel for part-time courses, Elite Solutions offers a unique alternative: The Gateway To Excellence module. This module takes the concept of the weekend away – away from the stresses of the workplace, away for a particular learning endeavour, for teambuilding, for course work or exam preparation – and applies it to teacher education and training.
Gateway to Excellence is a programme of English language instruction designed not only to help improve the language abilities of practicing classroom teachers, but also to ease communication between native and non-native speaker personnel, and to raise levels of professional knowledge within the work environment.

In addition, Gateway to Excellence has been designed specifically to provide fun and effective team building exercises that give participants the opportunity to use their English language skills both in and out of the sessions. The programmes are designed to motivate, to make participants realize common goals, and to help develop networks across the organization.
The teaching approach for the tuition (input) sessions will emphasize learning through practical “hands on” activities. Participants will be presented with and practice all the relevant language functions at the beginning of activities and then be shown how to, and be encouraged to, use these in a practical and fun way. Participants will be using English as often as possible from the start day to the end of the programme which comprises approximately 160 hours, and while fines will be imposed on those who revert back to the Thai language, rewards will also be granted to those whose effort in English is consistent or who show marked improvement. The environment will be fun and co-active, with the aim of building team spirit, cooperation, and confidence.
